ALUMINUM WELDING WIRES/RODS

MIG is the most commonly used welding method for aluminum and its alloy due to its high arc power and welding efficiency, which can be continuous current welding and pulse current welding. As the anode, the welding wire can be used with a greater welding current than TIG welding,  especially suitable for welding aluminum alloy plate with a thickness.

Aluminum alloy TIG welding used an AC power supply, which can achieve the best combination in current-carrying, arc control and arc cleaning, etc. The cathode of AC TIG welding has been self-cleaning by removing oxide surface and can avoid the joint corrosion by residual flux and slag after welding. Pure argon or argon-helium mixed gas (10-20% He) is used as shield gas, but the tungsten serious electrode burning will limit the welding current and the penetration depth is weak. It is suitable for welding of aluminum alloy workpiece with thickness less than 3mm.
